Founder
Angela “Niecy” Harmon is the Founder and CEO of Happy Academy (HA). HA supports mental, physical, spiritual and social emotional awareness & wellness in children of all ages.
Angela’s skills as a certified (happy lifestyle) coach include “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People & Teens", “TheMyers Briggs Type Indicator'', a time focus expert from “What Matters Most”, change management methods from the book “The Cheese Experience", and conflict resolution to name a few tools to aid in exploring what reveals personal happiness.
She prays/treats individuals, families, teams, couples and children utilizing the 7 steps of Spiritual Mind Treatment that taps into the peace within that leads to lasting results.
Angela retired in June 2020, after an award winning career with IBM. Serving in a vast array of roles, over a span of 25 years, to include Project Management, Program Manager, Facilitator, Training Instructor and Subject Matter Expert for IBM worldwide.
A Gamma Chi Chapter member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Angela is also a licenced/ordained minister of Science Of Mind to serve as a spiritual guide and leader to those that seek peaceful living scientifically.
Angela is excited about her first (children’s) book Birds of a Feather.
Angela lives in Atlanta. She's an empty nester mother of 3, grandmother of 4. Angela loves traveling, dancing, movies, music, jazz concerts, live theater, snorkeling, jet skiing, sky diving and many fun things! Her motto is “Carpe Diem” to live each day peacefully happy is of the highest priority.
